So, I AM SUPER STOKED! <3 belmacomic.com <3

Webcomic is up and posting as intended. The site itself is working but there are few things still off but for now it is working great. I really am enjoying doing all of this. I won't lie, it is frustrating, hair pulling, nerve racking, absolutely challenging but completely soul feeding and the damn thing makes me happy.

I am going to C2E2 with this coming weekend in Chacago. Out table is Q7. I will be promoting my comic for the first time there. Nothing complicated, handing out postcards, business cards, selling decals of logo and taking possible commissions.

AYEEE! Here's to the next few years of painting and having fun with this new life endeavor. Once this story is finished, I will launch my "North and South" sifi version immediately. That one will be a bugger. Long, very different and many people die kind of story. But I believe no less fun.

Side note: conventions => attending Akon as a con-goer and may also have a table at Animefest. Hopefully by then, I will have posters too.

I DID IT! I just uploaded my site form WAMP for the first time ever and it is working! ^3^ Now it is time for me to load everything and start my posters!!!! OMG! So excited. I even have a redirect to a temp page. STOKED. Webcomic coming along

I have the URLs now for both of my webcomics I am going to publish. One will start this April 2015 and the other will follow after the first completes most likely in 2 years.

Belma: A short comic of 5 chapters containing roughly 30 watercolor painted pages; I am very excited. It's about a young unicorn and a boy with wings and their adventures as they learn the basic life lessons of the young. The URL is belmacomic.com.

Sorry for the "radio" silence.

For the last 6 months, I have been putting together a webcomic that I had on the back burning for the last 5 years. For you that are in the know, this is not the same one (the "North and South" fantasy civil war one).

This is more of a playful/childish comic. I wouldn't go as far to say it is for children but at least safe for them.

It was not my initial intention for the comic to be 200+ watercolor/gauche paintings without words but the script was not cooperating with me and it just worked out for the best that way, especially after I started listening to what the story wanted.

This comic was originally supposed to be for me to just simply play with different media, treatments, characters and designs. It has become more. It is uncomfortable. It aggravates me. Pushes me intellectually in ways I never considered. Characters are mostly imagined animals. Colors I use, I have never placed together before. Landscapes, DEAR LORD so many landscapes, made up landscapes at that.

The posting deadline was to be at the end by January but due to additional researching, designing and generally getting back into watercolor painting, the webcomic is slated to be posted at the end of March this year, 2015.

All in all, this is the best work I feel I have ever done. I will post more updates on progress as I get closer.
